A video of a Maharashtra woman being rescued after she reportedly fell into a deep gorge while taking a photo goes viral.

Social media users have been sharing a video of a lady being pulled out of a ravine. The woman reportedly fell down a steep canyon while snapping a picture in the Satara region of Maharashtra. She can be heard sobbing in the footage as a guy carries her to safety.   

The video was released on an X account that was devoted to news about Mumbai. At Borne Ghat in Satara, a little girl was rescued by members of the Shivendra Raje rescue squad from a 150-foot gorge. While shooting a picture with her group of three girls and five lads, the girl tripped and fell from the video.

 Satara Zilla Parishad financed the climbing training that the Shivendra Raje group underwent in Dehradun last June," the caption that was posted with the photo said. But according to other accounts citing authorities, the woman fell while responding to nature's call during the region's intense downpour.

The woman is shown in the rescue footage clinging to a man and grasping a rope as they ascend to safety. The woman is seen sobbing throughout the entire clip. According to reports, the woman's fall caused injuries. She was brought to a hospital after being saved.
